Honoring the Dianne DeVanna Legacy Honoring the Dianne DeVanna Legacy Thursday, September 27th, 2018 5-7:30 PM Braintree Town Hall, 1 John F. Kennedy Memorial Drive, Braintree, MA 02184 Many of you may clearly remember the tragic day of 9/23/78 when 11 year old Dianne DeVanna lost her life to family violence. This September it will be 40 years since the Braintree community first came together to mourn the devastating loss of Dianne. As her community, you have refused to let this beautiful girl be forgotten through the establishment of the Dianne DeVanna Center for the prevention of child abuse. As part of the Bay State Community Service continuum of care, the Dianne DeVanna Center has continuously offered services to thousands of vulnerable children and families throughout the South Shore Area. We invite you to honor the legacy of Dianne DeVanna and celebrate the community support, services and deep commitment that has allowed for the success of the Dianne DeVanna Center in protecting our children.
